Mr. Zheng is the Managing Partner of YAFO Capital. He has been focusing on cross-border investment in healthcare sector since the beginning of his career life. Mr. Zheng has been involved in 30+ global life science BD transactions and advisory assignments and has led the team to close numerous deals. Before joining YAFO Capital, He was an equity research analyst covering the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors at Roth Capital Partners, a full-service investment banking firm headquartered in California. Mr. Zheng received a MS in Finance from Vanderbilt University in the US and a BS in Finance from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.

Changyeon Lee began his career working on government-funded international joint R&D programs, including technology transfer and commercialization. He went on to manage government-funded startup support programs (Early-Stage Startup Package among others) and R&D programs (TIPS and SCALEUP TIPS). He currently oversees the planning and operation of SCALEUP TIPS and other follow-on support programs at KVCA.

My work spans both academia and industry, allowing me to bridge these two sectors with a deep understanding of scientific research and translational drug development. In academia, my research primarily focuses on the application of AI and bioinformatics to precision medicine and genomics across a range of disease contexts. On the industry side, I co-founded UPPThera, a drug development company leveraging targeted protein degradation technology.
