This presentation explores the potential of using mycelium as a sustainable textile material. Fungal-based textiles, grounded in the circular principles of ecosystems and biodegradability, can help address the environmental limitations of conventional petroleum-based and synthetic fibers. In particular, the growth structure, binding capacity, and lightweight properties of mycelium offer potential applications as alternative and composite materials. From an ecomimetic perspective, this study examines the applicability of fungal materials and explores future directions for the materialization of biological resources and the development of the bio-textile industry.​
